Introducing Osterus: The Intelligent Way to Hire
Finding the right person for the job has long been the largest thorn in the side of businesses across the world. From skillset to culture fit there is a lot to consider when hiring a candidate. After finding the right person for the role, the mission becomes keeping them. Employee turnover costs and talent shortages are double what they were 10 years ago according to 2020 research from Catalyst.
Two veterans of the startup scene, Julian Herzog and Gilad Penn, joined forces to combat these problems. The end result: Osterus. Osterus is the SaaS platform designed to find the best candidates for jobs in the shortest time possible and keep those employees loyal.
Today, there are in-between 1,000 to 2,000 candidates who apply to open positions at reputable firms on average. A lot of these applications come from abroad and the data within the CV such as Universities, companies are unheard of to local recruiters. Would the best recruiter in the world be able to sort through that volume of candidates, find the best candidate for the job and be sure they didn’t miss any hidden gems? The chances are very low.
Hiring has become an expensive and time-consuming task. Some employers have had to introduce arbitrary requirements to filter out candidates. Firms may discount universities, only consider people with specific degrees or rely on specific background experience. This can mean that some hidden gems are missed and the cost of acquiring employees increases.
Osterus’ technology provides a holistic view of the candidate. The proprietary AI system analyses traditional and non-traditional data signals on a resume to a job specification. Osterus won’t just look at education but will look at non-traditional factors that may indicate drive, analytical capabilities, and likely career path. Using Osterus will mean any potential biases are removed from the hiring process. The platform helps employers and business owners understand and analyze foreign resumes. This makes sure firms don’t miss out on the best talent, even if it comes from abroad.
The end result? The best candidate for the job, and your firm.
If that’s not enough, Osterus’s data shows, that it can reduce employee turnover by as much as 20% and lowers termination rates. By taking a holistic view of the candidate Osterus’ AI can place them not only in the best job but the best environment. Once an employee is placed using Osterus’ technology they are more likely to stay. Why? Because Osterus also looks at the cost of living or the most likely career path a candidate will want among other things. Osterus can then judge how to keep this candidate loyal to their firm, and progress in their role.
Osterus has analyzed thousands of CV’s to help firms hire more intelligently. The platform also uses data from LinkedIn, Pinnacle Staffing and publicly available data. By analyzing various data sources, the software makes hiring processes more efficient, cost-effective, fair and inclusive.
